Welcome to the website of Carmarthen NightLight. We are volunteers from local churches and chapels who are out on the streets of Carmarthen between about 11 p.m. on Saturday and 3 a.m. on Sunday mornings, carrying water, first aid, flip flops for women who can no longer wear their shoes and lollipops for anyone who wants one.
We hope that our presence on the streets will in the long term make a difference to the late-night atmosphere in Carmarthen as well as helping non-church-goers understand a little of what being a Christian means.
The first Carmarthen NightLight team went out on 15th January 2011 so we are now one year old! To celebrate, the Mayor, Tom Defis, came out with us – here he is with the street team on 15th January 2012.
